Economic Daily: Focus on improving and perfecting enterprise incentive innovation system

The Communist Party of China Central Committee and the State Council recently issued the "Opinions on Improving the System of Modern Enterprises with Chinese Characteristics", specifically setting up a chapter on "strengthening the system of incentives for innovation in enterprises". It puts forward specific measures from three aspects: innovative organizational forms, efficient allocation of resources, and design of incentive mechanisms, to promote large, medium, and small enterprises to build a collaborative, efficient, and open innovation ecosystem. Currently, technological innovation has entered a new stage of collaborative work and overall advancement in big science. Strengthening the system of incentives for innovation in enterprises and promoting the transformation of the development model of enterprises from scale and speed-oriented to quality and efficiency-oriented are important measures to unleash the vitality of enterprises as the main drivers of innovation. The "Opinions" focus on the development of new productive forces, enhancing the level of innovation chains and industrial chains, and propose to build a scientifically reasonable framework for the system of incentives for innovation in enterprises, providing a new approach to address issues such as the dispersion, duplication, and inefficiency of enterprise innovation resources and efforts.
