European mining stocks hit a three-week high due to a decrease in copper inventories.

European mining stocks rose on Thursday as copper prices hit a two-month high and London Metal Exchange warehouse inventories continued to decline. The STOXX 600 Basic Resources Index rose by 1.3%, reaching a three-week high and outperforming the European benchmark index by 0.3%.
