Beware of illegal "campus loan" traps, National Student Financial Aid Management Center issues a warning.

According to the Ministry of Education, the National Student Financial Aid Management Center recently issued the 2nd warning for 2025, reminding students to be cautious of illegal "campus loans" traps. The warning stated that illegal "campus loans" have resurfaced recently, seriously harming the vital interests of a large number of students. Some illegal online lending platforms use low threshold, fast processing, high limits, and low interest rates as bait to induce students to overconsume and borrow blindly, leading them into debt crises and facing the risk of high-interest loans. Some students, unable to repay their debts, have suffered from illegal debt collection, leading to a series of serious consequences.
