According to the Securities Times APP, on June 5th, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment officially released the "2024 China Ecological Environment Status Report". In 2024, the national ecological environment quality continued to improve, and the environmental safety situation remained stable. The proportion of coal consumption in the total energy consumption decreased by 1.6 percentage points to 53.2% compared to 2023; the proportion of consumption of clean energy such as natural gas, hydropower, nuclear power, wind power, and solar power in the total energy consumption increased by 2.2 percentage points to 28.6% compared to 2023. By the end of 2024, the cumulative trading volume of carbon emission quotas in the national carbon emission trading market was 630 million tons, with a total turnover of 43.033 billion yuan.
