On June 5, Song Hongkun, Deputy Director of the National Energy Administration, stated at a press conference of the State Council Information Office that as of the end of April this year, China's installed capacity of renewable energy power generation has reached 2.017 billion kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 58%; the installed capacity of wind power, photovoltaic power, and nuclear power has reached 1.53 billion kilowatts, historically surpassing the installed capacity of thermal power.
