OpenAI announces that ChatGPT supports MCP and meeting notes.

On June 4th, OpenAI began a technical livestream to announce major updates to ChatGPT, including the introduction of meeting transcription mode for macOS users, which can transcribe any meeting, brainstorming session, or voice notes and quickly extract key points to convert them into new content. Another important feature is that ChatGPT now officially supports the MCP protocol, allowing users to directly connect to commonly used tools such as Github, SharePoint, Gmail, Dropbox, Box, and Outlook to achieve cross-platform data integration, search, and reasoning. In simple terms, OpenAI aims to build ChatGPT into an intelligent collaboration platform, where users can do everything in one place.
