The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government's green bond and infrastructure bond issuance received a total subscription of 237 billion Hong Kong dollars.

According to an announcement by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, the Hong Kong SAR government has announced the issuance of green bonds and infrastructure bonds worth approximately HK$27 billion, covering Hong Kong dollars, Renminbi, US dollars, and euros. The total subscription amount is approximately HK$237 billion, with a subscription multiple of approximately 3.3-12.5 times. Among them, the 30-year Hong Kong dollar bonds are issued by the SAR government for the first time, making it the longest tenor Hong Kong dollar bonds issued by the government so far. These bonds are expected to settle on June 10th and list on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and the London Stock Exchange. The Hong Kong Monetary Authority issued this batch of green bonds and infrastructure bonds on behalf of the Hong Kong SAR government.
