The proportion of excellent water quality in the coastal waters near Dalian has exceeded 97% for five consecutive years.

The "2024 Dalian Ecological Environment Report" released by the Dalian Ecological Environment Bureau on the 3rd showed that in 2024, the proportion of good water quality in the local nearshore waters was 98.3%, with the proportion of areas meeting the Class I seawater quality standards at 89.3%. As of 2024, the proportion of good water quality in the local nearshore waters has been over 97% for five consecutive years, and the water quality of all 45 river sections entering the sea has fully met the standards.
