On the afternoon of June 3, Wang Zhonglin, Secretary of the Hubei Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, conducted a survey on the high-quality development of the automobile industry in Jiangxia District of Wuhan City. During the survey, Wang Zhonglin emphasized that the automobile industry is the pillar industry and leading industry of our province. A strong automobile industry will lead to a strong industrial base in Hubei. Currently, the development of the automobile industry has entered a period of deep restructuring. We must face this urgency head on and decisively win the battle for the development of the automobile industry. We need to strengthen production and sales, support leading and backbone enterprises in expanding production scale, accelerate the construction of a number of capacity improvement projects, and help more new products go into production and enter the market. We need to strengthen transformation and development by following the trend of electrification, intelligence, and networking in the automobile industry, firmly seizing new opportunities and cultivating new advantages, and accelerating the iteration, upgrade, and quality improvement of intelligent network-connected new energy vehicles. We must strengthen market development by supporting enterprises in deepening the domestic market and expanding overseas markets, further optimizing overseas marketing systems, expanding channel networks, and promoting the automobile industry to "go global" faster.
