National Energy Administration: Focus on ensuring supply in areas with a tight balance or high pressure for consumption, building or upgrading a batch of new energy power stations.
The State Energy Administration issued a notice on organizing the first batch of pilot work for the construction of new power systems, proposing to focus on areas with tight supply and large consumption pressures, and to build or upgrade a number of new energy power plants, in order to improve the system's friendly performance through long-scale and high-precision power forecasting, collaborative control of wind and solar energy storage, and smart operation. The capacity of power plants during peak hours shall be increased by more than 10%. Power plants shall sign collaborative scheduling agreements with dispatching agencies, clarify the collaborative scheduling operation mode and the reliable capacity and support duration included in the power balance. The power forecasting results and generating plan suggestions for collaborative operation declared by the power plants in advance shall be perfected by the dispatching agencies, and based on the data reported by the power plants, the power plants shall be integrated into the daily power balance. Priority shall be given to the construction or upgrading of projects with a new energy installed capacity of more than 200,000 kilowatts.
