The State Energy Administration organized the first batch of pilot projects for the construction of a new power system. Focusing on scenarios such as aggregating dispersed power resources, enhancing flexible regulation capacity, reducing power supply gaps, and promoting the integration of new energy sources, a batch of different types of virtual power plants will be newly built or renovated according to local conditions. By aggregating various dispersed resources on the load side such as distributed power sources, controllable loads, and energy storage, and coordinating and optimizing control, the flexible regulation capacity can be fully utilized. Continuously enriching the business models of virtual power plants, participating in the electricity market, demand response, providing energy-saving services, energy data analysis, energy solution design, carbon trading-related services, and other comprehensive energy services to generate corresponding benefits.
