Chen Huantang, former deputy director of the Jiaozhou City People's Congress Standing Committee in Shandong Province, is under investigation.

On June 4th, the website of the Shandong Provincial Commission of Discipline Inspection and Supervision Commission reported that, according to the Qingdao Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, Chen Huantang, former deputy secretary of the Party Committee and deputy director of the Standing Committee of Jiaozhou People's Congress, is suspected of serious violations of discipline and law, and is currently undergoing disciplinary review and supervision investigation by the Qingdao Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision.
