As of the close of the day, the price of light crude oil futures for July delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange rose by 89 cents to $63.41 per barrel, an increase of 1.42%; the price of Brent crude oil futures for August delivery in London rose by $1.00 to $65.63 per barrel, an increase of 1.55%.
