Floods in central-northern Nigeria have led to the deaths of about 200 people.

The government of Niger State, located in the central-northern part of Nigeria, issued a statement on the 3rd stating that the flooding caused by heavy rainfall on May 28 has resulted in approximately 200 deaths and over 3,000 people displaced in the state.
