Beijing Municipality announced 22 measures to optimize inbound tourism services.

On the morning of June 3, 2025, the Beijing Inbound Tourism Development Conference opened. According to reports from the conference, inbound tourism in Beijing is showing a trend of accelerated development, with both the number of tourists and their spending level increasing. From January to April, the city received a total of 1.46 million inbound tourists, an increase of 57.1% year-on-year, with total tourism spending of 1.9 billion US dollars, up 55%. At today's conference, the "Special Action Plan for Optimizing Inbound Tourism Services in Beijing" was officially released. The "Action Plan" includes 22 practical measures focusing on products, promotion, services, and guarantees, aiming to create a new ecosystem for inbound tourism that caters to both local and international tourists.
