Michael Gonda, former executive at McDonald's, will be appointed as the Chief Communications Officer at Nike.

Nike announced on June 2 that Michael Gonda will be appointed as Executive Vice President and Chief Communications Officer, reporting to President and CEO Elliott Hill, starting July 7. Gonda's most recent position was Chief Impact Officer for McDonald's North America and previously served as Chief Communications Officer for McDonald's globally. Before joining McDonald's, Gonda was Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs at Chobani.
