On June 2nd, local time, the National Emergency Operations Center of Peru reported that a landslide occurred in the Ayacucho Region in southern Peru on the 1st, caused by heavy rain triggering a mudslide that destroyed a road. This resulted in at least 6 deaths as a pickup truck driving on the road was buried.
