New method verifies for the first time the topological superconductivity of natural materials.
According to the latest issue of the journal "Science", institutions such as the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom and University College Cork in Ireland have collaborated to develop a powerful new technology that has for the first time experimentally confirmed that naturally occurring material uranium ditelluride exhibits intrinsic topological superconductivity. This provides a key method for selecting core materials for large-scale, fault-tolerant quantum computers.
