According to the financial news app, on June 2nd, Hong Kong Financial Secretary Paul Chan attended the establishment ceremony of the Hong Kong Smart Low Carbon Development Innovation Alliance and the Hong Kong Low Carbon Development Summit Forum. Chan made two suggestions for the Hong Kong Smart Low Carbon Development Innovation Alliance. The first is to fully utilize the resources and networks of alliance members to promote cross-border cooperation and innovation among government, industry, academia, research, and investment, making the alliance a demonstration window for green low-carbon technology. This will allow the research results of green technology to be more widely used, and also promote the more vigorous development of the scientific and technological ecosystem in this field. In the future, the development of the northern urban area, including the construction of the district, will be based on green principles and will apply a large amount of low-carbon technology. Chan looks forward to alliance members actively participating in and supporting relevant projects.
