Heavy rain is coming, Guangxi issued a warning, Guilin, Liuzhou and other areas are expected to have heavy to torrential rain.

The reporter learned from the Guangxi Meteorological Observatory that from the evening of June 1st to the 2nd, Guangxi will experience a strong rainfall accompanied by severe convective weather process. On the evening of June 1st, Guilin, Liuzhou, Hechi, Baise, Hezhou and other cities will experience heavy to torrential rain, with local heavy rainfall exceeding 40-60 millimeters per hour, and in some areas exceeding 80 millimeters. On June 2nd, there will be moderate to heavy rain in eastern and southern Guangxi, with local heavy or torrential rain accompanied by short-term thunderstorms and strong convective weather. Other areas will be mostly cloudy to overcast, with scattered showers and locally heavy rain. On June 3rd, Guangxi will be mostly cloudy to clear, with local showers in the southeast. The Guangxi Meteorological Observatory issued a level four warning for heavy rain at 5:30 pm on June 1st. Precautions should be taken against urban and rural water accumulation, flash floods, geological disasters, short-term heavy rainfall, sudden gusts of wind, and safety management for holiday activities, transportation, tourist attractions, and maritime activities should be strengthened.
