French new car registrations in May decreased by 12.3%, with Stellantis leading the decline.
According to data released by the French Association of Automobile Manufacturers on Sunday, new car registrations in France decreased by 12.30% year-on-year in May, leading to an 8.25% year-on-year decrease in cumulative registrations for the first five months of this year. The total number of new car registrations last month was 123,919, lower than the 141,298 units in the same period last year. The downward trend in Tesla sales continued to accelerate, with only 721 units sold in May, a 67% decrease from the previous year, selling nearly 1,500 fewer units than May last year.
