The main index in Kuwait rose by 0.4% with Kuwait Finance House leading the gains.

Kuwait's main stock market index rose 0.4% to 8,831.93 points, reaching its highest closing level in at least a year. The index had fallen 0.1% on the previous trading day. Kuwait Financial House made the largest contribution to the index's gain, with its stock price rising 0.5%. Vargaba Bank saw the largest increase, rising 4.1%. Today, out of the 33 component stocks, 17 rose and 10 fell.
