Israeli military attacked a Gaza aid distribution point, resulting in 22 deaths and over a hundred injuries.

The media office in the Gaza Strip released a statement on June 1st local time, stating that the Israeli military attacked the aid distribution point in the Maawasi area in the southern Gaza Strip in the early morning, causing the death of 22 Palestinians and injuring 115 others. The statement said that the distribution point is located in the so-called "buffer zone" designated by Israel, operated by a joint venture company from the United States and Israel, and provided with security by the Israeli army.
