Analysts at J.P. Morgan pointed out in a research report that the European luxury goods, healthcare, aerospace, chemicals, and technology hardware industries seem to be vulnerable to the weakness of the US dollar. The bank stated that a weak dollar means that companies with a significant portion of their revenue coming from the US and with smaller exposure to dollar-based costs will face resistance. At the same time, J.P. Morgan also mentioned that from a cost and supply chain perspective, a weaker dollar should be beneficial for the retail, sports goods, aviation, and metals and mining sectors.
