Domestic AI programming tools accelerate "going on sale", Alibaba Cloud's internal AI assisted code generation increases by nearly 40%

The competition in the domestic and international AI programming track is becoming increasingly fierce. Earlier, there were reports that ByteDance would disable third-party AI development software like Cursor and promote self-developed Trae as a replacement, but ByteDance has not officially responded to this. On May 30th, Shen Xiu, the person in charge of Tongyi Lingma, told reporters that Alibaba Cloud has a very open attitude towards AI programming tools internally, and as long as data security and compliance are taken into consideration, employees are free to choose their tools. Currently, Tongyi Lingma has a very high coverage internally, with the proportion of the latest AI assistant code generation nearing 40%, which is an increase of around 50% from six months ago.
