After the frenzy of the "rush to install" subsides, the domestic photovoltaic market is facing a phase of shrinking demand. "The period from June to August or September may enter a lull, during which the industry will digest and contemplate the implications of the 136th document, and consider how to transition its subsequent business," said Niu Yanyan, President of Distributed Business in China for Longi Green Energy. She believes that the domestic distributed market remains promising after May 31st policy changes, especially for self-consumption projects in the industrial and commercial sectors, which will not be affected by the new photovoltaic policies.
