State Intellectual Property Office: Nearly 200,000 valid invention patents in the three provinces of Northeast China.

Reporters learned from the news conference held today by the State Intellectual Property Office that the national intellectual property system has actively assisted in the comprehensive revitalization of the Northeast region in the new era and has made positive progress. As of the end of April this year, the three provinces and one region in the Northeast had a total of 195,000 effective invention patents, an increase of 10.2% compared to the previous year; 2.161 million effective registered trademarks, an increase of 7.7% compared to the previous year; a total of 273 geographical indication products have been identified, and 556 geographical indications have been approved as collective trademarks or certification trademarks, with the total number of geographical indications approaching one-tenth of the national total.
