"Construction plan for the regional center for the recycling and utilization of new energy vehicle power batteries in Sichuan Province issued"

The Economic and Informatization Department of Sichuan Province and 9 other departments have issued the "Construction Plan of Regional Centers for Recycling and Utilization of New Energy Vehicle Power Batteries in Sichuan Province". Taking into account factors such as the number of new energy vehicles in use, the layout of key enterprises in the industry chain, and existing comprehensive utilization projects, the plan divides the entire province into 4-5 recycling and utilization regions. Leading enterprises with strong comprehensive strength within each region will collaborate to establish regional centers that combine online and offline operations, involve upstream and downstream companies in the industrial chain, and encompass multiple functions such as recycling, storage, dismantling, testing, and comprehensive utilization of old power batteries. These regional centers will be responsible for the recycling and utilization of new energy vehicle power batteries within their respective regions, gradually forming a well-connected, standardized, and efficient recycling and utilization system.
