Pan Gongsheng and Gong Zheng serve as rotating chairman of the 2025 Lujiazui Forum.

Zhou Xiaoquan, Executive Deputy Director of the Financial Office of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee, stated at the press conference that the 2025 Lujiazui Forum will be held on June 18-19, 2025, with the theme of "Financial Opening Cooperation and High-Quality Development in the Global Economic Transformation". The forum is jointly organized by the People's Bank of China, the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission, the China Securities Regulatory Commission, and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, with the Governor of the People's Bank of China and the Mayor of the Shanghai Municipal People's Government serving as co-chairmen.
