According to the China Trade Remedy Information Network, the Foreign Trade Department of the Thai Ministry of Commerce recently issued a notice stating that, at the request of domestic enterprises in Thailand, Thailand has initiated a second anti-dumping sunset review investigation on high carbon wire rods originating from China. The products involved are described as follows: with a round cross-section diameter of less than 14 millimeters, the carbon content is not less than 0.76% but not exceeding 0.92% by weight. During the investigation period, anti-dumping duties on the products involved will be collected in the form of deposits, effective from May 16, 2025, with a validity period not exceeding 1 year. The notice shall come into effect from the date of its publication.
