Thailand initiates second sunset review investigation on high carbon wire rod from China for anti-dumping measures.

According to the China Trade Remedy Information Network, recently, the Foreign Trade Department of the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand issued a notice stating that, in response to applications from domestic enterprises in Thailand, Thailand has initiated a second anti-dumping sunset review investigation on high carbon wire rods originating from China. The products involved are described as follows: with a circular cross-section, a diameter of less than 14 millimeters, and a carbon content of not less than 0.76% but not exceeding 0.92% by weight. During the investigation period, anti-dumping duties on the products involved are collected in the form of security deposits, effective from May 16, 2025, with a validity period of no more than 1 year. The notice takes effect from the date of publication.
