Volkswagen CEO Oliver Blume said in a media interview that the company is in direct discussions with the US government to resolve the tariff dispute. "After I personally went to Washington, we have been in regular contact. So far, our negotiations have been absolutely fair and constructive," Blume said. He also stated that if the tariff dispute is resolved, Volkswagen is willing to make "additional, large-scale" investments on top of its existing investments in the United States.
