Apple is planning to launch a dedicated video game app on its devices. This app will be pre-installed on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV later this year. The app will serve as a game launcher, showcasing in-game achievements, leaderboards, communication records, and other activities, while also providing curated content, access to the App Store gaming section, and promoting the Arcade subscription service. This app will replace the current Game Center as part of Apple's efforts to enhance gaming experiences on its devices. Currently, in-game purchases contribute to about two-thirds of the revenue for the App Store.
