On Tuesday's closing in New York, the yield on the 10-year US Treasury benchmark bond fell by 7.92 basis points to 4.4338%. Following the long weekend, it opened lower and continued to decline throughout the day, trading in the range of 4.5070% to 4.4259%. The yield on the 20-year US Treasury bond dropped by 8.60 basis points, while the yield on the 30-year bond fell by 9.04 basis points. The yield on the 2-year US Treasury bond decreased by 1.89 basis points to 3.9723%, trading in the range of 3.9954% to 3.9595% during the day. The yield on the 3-year US Treasury bond dropped by 3.38 basis points, while the yields on the 5-year and 7-year bonds fell by 5.31 and 6.09 basis points respectively.
