Qualcomm Research Report: Our modem performance surpasses Apple's C1 modem.

A study commissioned by Qualcomm found that the performance of its modem chips is superior to a competing component developed by Apple, especially for cellular users in densely populated urban areas. According to a report from Cellular Insights Inc., the iPhone 16e is the first smartphone to feature Apple's self-developed C1 modem, and the speed of downloading and uploading information on T-Mobile's 5G network in New York City is slower than Android devices equipped with Qualcomm chips. Qualcomm funded this study and provided the research results to Bloomberg.
