Chongqing Caiyuanba Railway Station's iconic building to be demolished by explosion.

At 16:00 on May 25th, with a loud explosion, the first railway in the new China, the Chengyu Railway, which has been in operation for more than 70 years, welcomed a new journey at its starting station, Chongqing Station. The main buildings of the China Railway Hotel, which has witnessed countless farewells and reunions, and the waiting hall were demolished by controlled explosions. The old station bid farewell, and the new station will soon enter the construction phase. In the future, the total scale of the new Chongqing Station yard will be 2 yards, 7 platforms, and 14 lines, which will play an important role in supporting Chongqing's construction as a national central city and creating an international comprehensive transportation hub.
