BMW reduces domestic pure electric vehicle estimates and increases fuel vehicles.

According to sources close to BMW China's supply chain, BMW has lowered the future sales forecast for its pure electric vehicle models in the country. The lowered forecast includes existing BMW and MINI brand pure electric vehicle models currently on sale, as well as the new generation BMW electric vehicles set to be launched in 2026. Sources close to BMW's supply chain revealed that starting from 2024, BMW has been gradually reducing its future sales forecast, leading supply chain companies to anticipate further reductions. However, the recent round of reductions from the second half of last year to the first quarter of this year exceeded previous expectations. While lowering the forecast for electric vehicles, BMW has also increased the future sales forecast for some gasoline-powered vehicles, including new generation products.
