Recently, the Ministry of Commerce, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the State Administration of Taxation, the National Bureau of Statistics and other eight departments jointly issued the "Special Action Plan to Accelerate the Development of Digital Supply Chains." The action plan focuses on five key areas, implementing tailored strategies to accelerate the development of digital supply chains. It aims to improve the organization level of agricultural supply chains, develop smart agriculture, promote the high-quality development of rural e-commerce, support the development of agricultural product supply chain service providers, and build digitalized commodity markets. It also aims to promote the intelligent development of manufacturing supply chains, collaboratively build a number of intelligent factories and smart supply chains, implement action plans for the digital transformation of manufacturing industries, and launch special actions to empower new industrialization with artificial intelligence. It aims to enhance the integrated capability of wholesale industry supply chains, providing comprehensive services such as raw material procurement, warehousing logistics, product marketing, supply chain financing, and recycling of renewable resources for upstream and downstream customers and industry clusters. It also aims to optimize the supply level of the retail industry supply chains, support retail enterprises in using digital technology to integrate omnichannel information, accelerate the feedback speed of consumer information to brand owners and manufacturers, promote "personalized customization + flexible production," and improve the level of merchandise supply. Furthermore, it aims to promote the reduction of overall logistics costs for the entire society, facilitate the integration of logistics with industries, trade, and consumption, promote the use of smart three-dimensional warehouses, automatic guided vehicles, unmanned delivery vehicles, and support the integrated development of trade ports and shipping.
