The "2025 World Tourism Alliance Dongting Dialogue" was held in Yueyang, Hunan on the 25th. Shi Mingde, Chairman of the Asia-Pacific Tourism Association, said in a keynote speech that China's role as a global exporter of tourism knowledge, technology, and innovation is becoming increasingly important, making it a model worth learning from. Referring to China's "dynamic tourism economy," Shi Mingde said that the recovery and strong growth of the domestic tourism industry in China are continuously redefining the essence of the industry; in terms of inbound tourism, China still has potential, "because it has rich cultural treasures, natural beauty, and a rich and authentic daily life from ancient to modern times."
