According to a report from TASS on the 25th, Denmark and Sweden recently provided Ukraine with a batch of special military aid - old fishing nets. It is said that Ukraine is using these old fishing nets to resist drone attacks. TASS cited a report from the Finnish Broadcasting Company, stating that after Britain imposed restrictions on North Sea fishing, most of the fishing nets were returned to local fishermen, with only Denmark providing old fishing nets to Ukraine worth approximately 2.5 million euros. The report also cited the Kyiv Post as saying that these fishing nets can be used to defend against drone attacks. The fishing nets can be pre-stretched and placed over trench and ditch entrances, so when drones drop explosives through the net, the elasticity and tension of the net can slow down the falling speed of the explosives, making it difficult for the detonation device to trigger properly. TASS reported that since the outbreak of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, Denmark has provided Ukraine with approximately 8.5 billion euros in military aid, while Sweden's total military aid is close to 8 billion euros.
