Trade experts: The logic of the US using export controls to control other countries' chips is flawed.
Recently, the U.S. Department of Commerce released guidelines in an attempt to globally restrict the use of advanced Chinese computing chips, citing alleged violations of U.S. export controls. Zhou Mi, a researcher at the International Trade and Economic Cooperation Research Institute of the Department of Commerce, stated that export controls are only intended to restrict the export of domestic technology, and the U.S. guidelines are aimed at impeding the circulation of products from other countries, which is "very unreasonable and illogical"!
