On the evening of May 23, Sichuan Changhong Electronics Holdings Group announced on its official WeChat account that the mass production of the ultra polar ear battery developed by Changhong Sanjie is about to be scaled up. It is reported that the ultra polar ear battery can better solve the contradiction between high energy density and high safety performance. Changhong Sanjie's ultra polar ear battery has achieved excellent performance with a decrease in battery impedance by over 70% and a decrease in temperature rise by over 30%, effectively solving the technical pain points of excessive temperature rise during high-rate discharge processes. After repeated research and testing, the relevant ultra polar ear batteries developed by Changhong Sanjie have reached a mature and stable level, with a stable yield rate of around 90% on the production line, surpassing the industry standard in China. Currently, Changhong Sanjie's ultra polar ear battery is in the small-scale production stage, and it is expected to establish a fully automated production line for ultra polar ear batteries by 2026 to achieve mass production.
