Zhuhai issues guidelines for applying for special subsidies for "old-for-new" housing, with a maximum subsidy of 30,000 yuan.

The Zhuhai Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau has released the "Guidelines for the Application of Special Subsidies for 'Replacing Old with New' Housing in Zhuhai City", which will be implemented from May 6, 2025 to May 5, 2026. During the implementation period, individuals who purchase new commercial housing within the jurisdiction of Zhuhai City and sell their existing residential property within Zhuhai City during this period will be eligible for a special subsidy for "replacing old with new" housing, equivalent to 1% of the net signed price of the new housing, up to a maximum of 30,000 yuan. There is no specific sequence for buying new housing or selling old housing, and the special subsidy can be applied for under the "buy one, sell one" principle. The new housing mentioned in these guidelines does not include affordable housing, talent housing, resettlement housing, and other government-subsidized housing, nor does it include properties acquired through foreclosure.
