From January to April, the service retail sales increased by 5.1% year-on-year, with a growth rate 0.4 percentage points faster than the same period of commodity retail sales. In April, catering revenue increased by 5.2%, with a growth rate 0.5 percentage points faster than the first quarter. During the Qingming holiday, domestic tourists spent a total of 575.49 billion RMB, an increase of 6.7% year-on-year. Inbound tourism grew rapidly, with the number of inbound tourists and consumption on relevant platforms increasing by 54.8% and 66.8% respectively from January to April. In April, consumption on relevant platforms for culture, entertainment, and leisure increased by 24.5% and 22.4% respectively year-on-year.
