Hong Kong University of Science and Technology: Welcome Harvard students to transfer and continue their studies.
The United States has announced the cancellation of Harvard University's student and exchange scholar program qualification, prohibiting the school from admitting international students. The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology announced on the 23rd that it is inviting international undergraduate and graduate students currently studying at Harvard University, as well as students who have received confirmation of admission to degree programs at Harvard, to continue their studies at HKUST. HKUST stated that it will provide unconditional admission, simplified admission procedures, and academic support, offering a seamless learning environment for students interested in transferring. The university will prioritize fast admissions, credit transfer, and personalized support, including visa assistance and accommodation, to ensure a smooth transition for students; a dedicated team has been set up to assist students with admissions, credit transfer, accommodation, and visa matters. HKUST Vice-President Guo Yike pointed out that diversity can stimulate creativity and progress, and the university is prepared to welcome Harvard students into our community, providing them with the resources and vibrant environment they need to thrive in their respective fields.
