The US ITC issues a final ruling on Part 337 for liquid cooling systems and components used in computer electronic components.
On May 22, the United States International Trade Commission issued a notice stating that it made a 337 partial judgment on liquid coolers and their components used for computer electronic components, devices for controlling the liquid coolers, and products containing the liquid cooler. Based on the application submitted by the respondent, it was decided to conduct a review of the initial judgment made by the administrative judge in this case on March 21, 2025. The original judgment found the patents of 10.5 million and 11.06 million invalid, infringed upon, and that the applicant met the technical and economic criteria for domestic industry status in the United States. The review will not cover other parts of the initial judgment, and the suggested remedies are a general exclusion order and cease and desist order. Interested government agencies, individuals, and others are invited to submit comments on the review, suggested remedies, and public interests involved in written materials no later than June 2, 2025.
