The Chinese Ambassador to Ireland met with the Minister for Finance and Chair of the Eurogroup to exchange views on supporting the development of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank and strengthening trade cooperation.

On May 21st, the Chinese Embassy in Ireland announced that Ambassador Zhao Xiyuan met with the Irish Minister for Finance and President of the Eurogroup, Paschal Donohoe, at the Irish Ministry of Finance. The two sides had in-depth discussions on China-Ireland bilateral relations, Chinese economic development, and international and regional issues of mutual concern. They also exchanged views on supporting the development of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank and enhancing cooperation in the field of international trade.
