Agricultural Development Bank issues a plan to support the construction of high-standard farmland.

The Agricultural Development Bank of China recently issued the "Implementation Plan to Support the Gradual Establishment of High-standard Farmland as Permanent Basic Farmland", in order to fully support the construction of high-standard farmland and ensure national food security. The plan outlines the overall requirements, goals, and measures to support the construction of high-standard farmland. The plan emphasizes improving the production capacity of grain and important agricultural products as a top priority, continuously increasing support for the construction, renovation, and management of high-standard farmland throughout its entire life cycle, with an annual investment of no less than 100 billion yuan in loans related to supporting the construction of high-standard farmland. The plan specifies that comprehensive treatment should be carried out for land, soil, water, roads, forestry, electricity, technology, and management; closely coordinating with the national spatial layout and schedule arrangements; adhering to regional policies and implementing differentiated support strategies based on the characteristics of different regions. At the same time, it emphasizes the allocation of credit resources to ensure the supply of credit funds for the construction of high-standard farmland; strict adherence to relevant policies regarding credit products, careful selection of loan products, and maintaining strict boundaries in business operations.
