Severe convective weather is approaching, Guizhou province has launched a level three emergency response to meteorological disasters.

According to the latest forecast from the Guizhou Provincial Meteorological Observatory, Guizhou will experience heavy rainfall and severe convective weather from the afternoon of May 21 to the 22nd. On the night of the 21st, heavy rainfall will mainly affect the northern and northwestern areas of Guizhou Province, with locally heavy to torrential rain and some towns experiencing heavy rain; from the afternoon to night of the 22nd, there will be heavy rain in some areas of the eastern and southern parts of Guizhou, with some towns experiencing heavy rain. In the southern and western regions of Guizhou, thunderstorms will be accompanied by short-term heavy precipitation, thunderstorm winds, hail, and other severe convective weather.
