A flight in the United States received a bomb threat and one person was arrested.

The San Diego Police Department in California, USA, said on the 20th that they received a report that there may be a bomb on a flight about to depart from San Diego International Airport. All passengers on board were evacuated, but no suspicious items were found later. One person was arrested in this incident. The San Diego Police Department said in a statement that around 8:45 am on the 20th, an Airbus A330 aircraft of Hawaiian Airlines was scheduled to fly to the capital of Hawaii, Honolulu, when a flight attendant informed the pilot that "a passenger reported a possible bomb on board". The pilot immediately alerted the authorities. All 293 people on board were evacuated and moved to a safe area. After the police and FBI searched the aircraft, no suspicious items were found. Subsequently, passengers were able to re-board, and the flight departed for Honolulu at around 2:15 pm on the same day. Hawaiian Airlines said in a statement, "Someone heard a passenger threatening the safety of our aircraft," and as a precaution, the pilot informed the authorities. San Diego Police Department spokesperson Brianna Mandy Paige said that one person has been arrested, but did not disclose the suspect's information and the charges they face.
